Our Server Rules
By participating in the gameplay that HoneyBerryMC has to offer, you automatically agree to these rules. That means that our staff team are within bounds to punish those who break these rules.
✽ No Griefing Allowed
Do not take something that doesn’t belong to you unless you have explicit permission from the owner to take possession.
Do not grief other people’s builds and/or property.
Do not alter the landscape of Earth world if you don’t intend to build on it.
Do not alter the landscape around world warps, which makes it harder for other players to gather materials.
Do not use water casting and/or lava casting to alter landscapes or builds.
Do not build inappropriate structures and/or symbols of hate. Extremely offensive builds will result in immediate and permanent banishment.
Do not attack other players without their consent.
Do not harass other players in game. This can include stalking, making false reports, or any form of bullying outside of chat.
Do not block another town/player’s claim by claiming plots if you have no intention of using the area. If you are unsure whether you are too close to a town, please reach out to the town for border discussion.
Griefing can be described as the following: any form of bullying outside of chat (stalking, making false reports, skins that present/promote hate speech, etc), theft, destroying/vandalizing someone else’s build without explicit permission, altering the landscape of Earth world, extreme lava/water casting, building inappropriate structures (genitalia, hate symbols, etc), attacking other players without their consent, town claim blocking, … and more.
If a chunk is not claimed by a town, it will not be protected by towny and/or server rules. Please claim anything you wish to protect!
✽ No Chat Violations Allowed
Do not harass or slander other players or non players in chat. For the purposes of moderation, begging is considered harassment.
Do not impose your beliefs on others. The world is a big place and you may not always agree with others, but we ask all players to respect the worldviews and ideologies of others.
Do not use hate speech. Extremely offensive language will result in an immediate and permanent banishment. We have a zero tolerance policy on racism, ableism, homophobia, sexism, and all other discriminatory behaviors.
Do not spam. This can be the repetition of a word or a message typed out or a repeated typed sentiment.
Do not advertise another Minecraft server.
Do not breach and/or expose personal information of yourself or another player.
Please use English in chat.
Chat Violations can be described as the following: inappropriate behavior (harassment, verbal abuse, slander, begging, grooming, unwanted advancements, etc), dogmatizing (imposing beliefs on others), hate speech (racism, ableism, homophobia, sexism, or other discriminatory behavior), spamming (this can be the repetition of a word or a message typed out or a repeated typed sentiment), advertising, breach of personal information, use of non-English in public channels … and more.
✽ No Cheating / No Hacking Allowed
Do not use alternate accounts or other means to bypass punishments.
Do not use X-ray, block/item duplication hacks, fly-hacking, anti-AFK, AFK fishing, or bug exploits.
ASK FIRST if you are unsure about using any third-party tool that can potentially be considered cheating.
Do not participate in real world trading. This includes buying a rank for another player in exchange for items and services provided in game.
Cheating can be described as the following: using an alternate account or other means to bypass punishment, hacking (fly-hacking, x-ray, anti-AFK, anti-spam blocker), abusing duplication glitches, bug exploits, real-world trading (giving real money in exchange for in game items), … and more.
If there is a third-party tool that you would like to use, please ask in chat before using it, lest it be mistaken for a hacked client, etc
✽ No Impersonation of Staff
Do not falsely claim to be an owner or staff member. This includes using the similar skins nicknames as an owner or staff member.
Do not threaten to ban other players from the server.
Impersonation can be described as the following: intentionally using the same nickname as a staff member or similar enough of a name that would confuse players on who they are talking to, intentionally using the same skin to confuse players, pretending to be a staff member, threatening to punish players, handling reports without authority to do so, ... and more.
